On the spot.

We are in the group of death, and it isn't reasonable to expect the US to come out in the top 2, by any means. However, Klinsmann just made this entire World Cup about himself and not the US.

frick that guy. Seriously, frick anyone who thinks Brad Davis, DeAndre Yedlin, John Anthony Brooks, Chris Wondolowski, or a guy who tried to do everything in his power to not play for the US deserved a spot over Landon.

fricking ridiculous.

And on the off chance we win our group and make it to the quarter finals, should we give him a lifetime contract?

Well brooks makes sense to be fair. That was essentially a Brooks over Goodson decision and it's one I agree with, you obviously need 3 CB's. But he basically picked Davis over Donovan. Inexcusable

it depends on how we don't make it out. if we lose on GD to Portugal than hey not something you can really do. However, if we get blown out then you should start questioning.

Are you trying to grab the spot of Klinsmann's number one ankle grabber or something?

seems like a very forward looking roster. most of these guys will still be prime in 2018.

If this team makes it out of the group this year, we will shock the world in 2018. No doubt.

No but it's pretty clear Landycakes didn't want to go to Brazil. IF he had then his preparation would have been sincere.

Exactly why take a 31 year old non factor player.

No, he should get a renewal through 2018.

If he had called Donovan onto the roster, and we lost every game 3-0, I'd still say that he should get a renewal through 2018 because we just got unbelievably unlucky with the draw, basically a worst case scenario in every single team that ended up in our group.

However, this is nothing more than an ego play were Klinsmann is being an immature and insecure teenager and saying no one is bigger than him in US Soccer, which is absolutely not true.

He just put a gigantic target on his back. frick him.

can you swap an alternate for any reason? or does there have to be a medical issue?

He needs a healthy, hungry 23-man squad if he's going to make it out the group. Klinsmann made it about the team, not Landon's victory lap.
