Whatcha got? She's at HOB-NO tomorrow night. I have a ticket to see her in Atl in couple of weeks.

I've never seen her before, but have high expectations.

I saw her a few years ago at a festival. She was pretty drunk, and I found her stage presence along with her intoxicated state pretty sexy. Show was pretty good. Her music has always been hit or miss to me.

I've got a couple of her songs in my collection. Never really branched out beyond those though

She opened up her "Car Wheels" tour at the Varsity years ago. Excellent show, one of the better I've seen, she had a really tight band. Haven't seen her in more than a decade though and I don't think any albums after "Car Wheels" were nearly as good so it's possible she's on the decline.

She's good. Pretty raw and emotional, in a way that works.

That song "Joy" is good. I almost like her later stuff more than early

She's proof that you can be a kickass country gal without being a supermodel

Caught her show a few years ago. Lady can definietly rock, and she has written some great songs. Should be a good show - but, I'll be at the Boogaloo for Eric Lindell.

Saw her years ago at a little place. She was pretty boring live.

Saw her live once about 7-8 years ago. Good show, but played alot of the new songs from the album that just came out. I'd pay top dollar to hear her play the "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" album straight through. I know she's playing in Lake Charles soon, which would be a neat thing to experience.

Yeah, she's playing on Wednesday, I believe.
It's her first time to ever play her hometown, which is very cool.

She and her band are fantastic. She is probably my favorite female songwriter of all time.
Just a word of warning though. She is bad about not remembering lyrics, so she keeps the lyric book on stage with her and glances at it throughout the show.

She's 61. Her newer albums have been a bit boring in comparison to her older stuff.

Love Lucinda, but haven't seen her live. Great song writer!

As already mentioned, Car Wheels On A Gravel Road is a great album top to bottom.

One of my fav songs of hers:

Back when Car Wheels came out, her touring band was incredible and her live show was very reflective... In the 15+ years since then, I have seen her various times to mixed reviews... if she has been in the cups, might as well just leave, because it will be a pretty boring and frustrating set.. IMO

Car Wheels is her best album(Drunken Angel my fav LW tune), but I have World Without Tears a close second, Sweet Old World and Essence and Blessed are great stuff too. Anything she does is solid, but some of her latter works like West put me to sleep.

Going to be interesting .. If she plays her high-energy stuff, the show should rock.

If she goes with her really slow stuff, could be painful.

Just like her recorded material.

Saw LW last night. It was good. Not great, but good.

I enjoyed her show, but would not go out of my way to see her again.

She did pack the house (Variety Playhouse here in Atlanta) and is playing there again tonight.

Kinda on par with my sentiments these past few years...

Back in the day when Bo Ramsey and Kenny Vaughn were playing with her.. those shows were awesome!
