Heard on wwl tonight that Hester will be participating in rookie mini camp this weekend.

He's from LSU so we should sign him

He provides another receiving option and is a pretty good ball-carrier as a fullback. I don't see why he won't challenge for a job. Is everyone completely sold on our FB's and 4th string RB?

Do you even follow the saints bro?

One of these weird predictions--I doubt he makes it through the weekend, but if he does, he has a suprisingly good shot of competing for a roster spot. One RB position is open with Sproles gone, and it's him and Flanders.

Yeah, I'm sick of all the players from LSU on this team. Payton needs to stop showing favoritism!
Of the 78 players presently on the roster, guess how many are from LSU?
ZERO, zilch, zip, nada, nil, none!!!
Hopefully, when LSU becomes a football powerhouse like McNeese State, or Tarleton State, or Stillman, or Appalachian State, they can start sending guys into the NFL.
ETA: BTW...Guess which school ranked second with the most players in NFL last season?
Yep, LSU. LINK
Guess which school had the most players drafted in the 2014 draft?
Yep, LSU. LINK

I doubt that Lobos is ignorant to this fact. And don't act like you haven't seen all the different threads at draft time each and every year talking about getting the Tharold Simons and Spencer wares of the world, like they're about to set the world on fire. Lobos was just funnin. Chill out

CSP must read the Rant.
And seriously dude, CSP has shown an incredible talent for finding talent in low rounds/UDFA. You know what that does? It allows up to sign the Brees, Byrds, etc.
So while I'd love to have Patrick Peterson, or Odell Beckham on this team, I'd much rather worry about winning.

Good. I wish him well. Perhaps he can ride shotgun on MI in camp.
Like a good sheriff keep our boys safe!

You do realize this makes no sense...right?
If your draft Player A from Lil Sisters of the Poor, the salary is the same as drafting Player B from LSU.

Except player A turns out to be colston, jahri, and armstead
And it makes plenty sense when they produce so well for a cheap price. Not everyone can be Al Woods though

So we should not sign/draft Colston, Pierre Thomas, Cadet, Joe Morgan, Lance Moore, Jahri Evans based upon talent and sign X player from LSU instead?
Just stop. You're making it worse.

We gave Lorig a 4 year deal. Hester didn't even play last year.
The 4th RB spot is going to be a battle imo between Cadet and Flanders. You heard it here first.

It's actually 88 players right now and there are no good LSU players left to be had.
We don't need an LSU player just to have one and we don't need to avoid them because they're LSU players.
We need good players period. Does not matter where they are from. College shite can stay on the college boards. This is the NFL and players are judged by what they can do and not where they are from once they get here.

It's all about preferences.
CSP:
I mean, I could start a whole thread about that.

Can I just add that, ok, it doesn't matter what color you are, or your religion, or how rich your parents were. All that matters is that we're people.
