If Hester can make the team and contribute, fantastic. I wont be the slightest bit upset. Just as I'd have been stoked had we drafted Beckham or Landry.
I've got a LSU diploma hanging on my wall, and I'l no less of a Tiger fan that anyone else. But unlike some people on this site, I don't get my loyalties confused on Saturday and Sunday.
My dislike for Ingram had nothing to do with his Alma Mater. If Sunseri can contribute on this team, I don't care if he says "Rawl Taaade."

I wasn't too happy with him at the beginning of last year. But that was because of 1.7ypc, not Bama.

I wouldn't mind the Saints signing Hester, I've always been a fan of his since the 07' LSU football championship season.

Lorig is purely a blocker with a handful of receptions under his belt. He had as many NFL carries as I do. There is another FB on the roster who may or may not make the final 53. Hester is a different type of FB who can count as an extra ball-carrier if the Saints decide to add some versatility in its stable of backs. Guys make the final roster as special-teamers as well. I don't see why people get their panties in a bunch over a former LSU player trying out and possibly making it on a preseason roster.
