Is this the most intriguing draft in recent memory?

Sure seems like it to me. I can't remember there being so much uncertainty a day before the draft.

Look at a dozen mocks from the "experts" and everyone has a different take on how the 1st round will play out. No consensus #1 (though Clowney seems to be...until reports of Mack started surfacing!)

I'm so excited!

No. We are just used to the draft being much earlier so we have talked about it longer. In the future, if they keep this schedule, we will get used to and not care for so long. It is rather pointless.

I thought that the draft was supposed to be two weeks ago. Weird.

I'm not sure we'd ever "get used to it" but we may have to learn to accept it. In the past the FA news ran through about a week or two before the draft. That's not going to change so there will be a long period of "dead space" if they keep it like this.

This.

The draft should be over and fans cheering/jeering their teams' picks now. Experts grading drafts based on nothing.

This is the worst draft season ever. And Goodell wants to even extend it in the future. Soon, the draft will be in August, the NFL season will start in November and the Superbowl will be played in May.

It worked out well for me since I've been swamped with school the last few weeks. I'll miss the first ~20 minutes of the draft (unless I finish a final early) but will be able to enjoy the rest with my last final finishing at 7:30.

i can remember this level of hype in 08 having a top 10 pick... with no REAL direction.

2011 was kind of exciting, because it was such a deep DE class... and that was our need, and looking back we really couldn't have gone wrong...

last year i think everyone was torn 50/50 Jarvis/Kenny... glad we got that one right

the delay of the draft is definitely building buzz, but i also think we are all so in love with offense, just dreaming about which WR is gonna join this team has us all licking our chops

1 more day! or maybe 2... God bless the fans out drinking all night, when they get to 27, and they announce a trade that puts us into day 2.

Have barely paid attention at all. Getting kind of sick of the nfl and their quest to be on our minds 12 months a year to be honest. Actually way more excited the world cup.
