Looking to get a semi auto for doves and ducks.
I know I should go shoulder a few different types etc.

What's the difference between the A3000 and A300?

I don't see the A3000 on their website.

I love mine. It is balanced and swings awesome. I love the sight picture and it has eaten everything Ive fed it from turkey loads to light 7/8 oz target loads. Ive only got about 12 boxes of shells through it so it's just getting broken in now but I thrilled with my purchase and dont think I could have gotten a better gun for the money. I was choosing between a Browning Silver Hunter, a Winchester SX3 (very nice), and this gun. It was the cheapeast but I dont think it is lacking in quality. We'll see how it holds up after duck season.

Edit: Ive shot an Xtrema II, an A400 Unico , and an A391 all belonging to my buddies along with my Uncle's SBE II and my A300 all in one skeet shoot and I have to say that I really do like mine alot. Not comparing it to those guns, just saying that the quality difference because of the price points is very little, if any. My gun feels very solid and after taking it apart, it's very well made.

I wouldn't worry too much about this, assuming you're going with a Beretta or Benelli -- because they come with adjustable shims.

You might mount one in the store, find you're not looking down the rib, and decide to scratch that one off your list. But the answer will probably be to adjust the shims, like we all(most of us) do.

Gun manufacturers can't design//build a stock that will fit every body type//build. Hence the shims. But you can't do the shim adjustment in the store -- you gotta have enough faith that you'll be able to make it fit after you do the adjustment at home.
