He's a very versatile back and definitely worth a 4th or 5th round look, but not sure how long past the 4th he'd last.

i'm thinking late 3rd or 4th would be a very good value if around.

Devil's advocate, but if I remember correctly, he really struggled against the few decent defenses that Baylor played. The rest of the time he was running through hole the size of Mack Trucks.

But he is really talented.

Robinson, Seastrunk, and Ingram might make a great trio!

This said he ran a 4.37 at his pro day.

But he'd be probably get buried on the depth chart or cut in lou of Cadet, so what's the point :(

Also to play devil's advocate, he didn't catch a single pass last year. I know people had talked about him replacing Sproles.

I know that doesn't say much about his hands, he could have great hands. But is he proficient in running routes out of the backfield? Could he even make an impact in that area in year 1? Especially when we have Pierre Thomas and Cadet, both excellent pass catchers.

I see Cadet more as a place holder for someone more talented.

If this is true then I don't see us taking him.

To go an entire season without catching a single pass in games where your QB throws 50+ times is a red flag to me.

D'AT ftw.

Baylor actually ran more last year, but they still threw a good bit.

HE caught 9 passes the year before.

Great talent. No question about that. Yet under performed at the combine with laser time. He ran a 4.51 at the combine with laser time, and then a 4.37 at his pro day, which is hand time. Id say hes a mid to high 4.4 guy before I would say hes a 4.3 guy.

That said, hes loaded with explosiveness and athleticism. But, his college #s are severely inflated due to the offense he played in and how weak his competition was. He tore up horrible Ds, but struggled against legit Ds. And he doesnt have that great of vision. Not horrible, but with a home run threat like he is you want him to have great vision. And he also bounces to the outside a lot and is too much of an east and west runner at times. And like Lester said, he was rarely involved in the passing game.

If used properly, he could be a solid player. But for a 3rd / 4th round pick? Ill pass. We already have a solid core at RB with PT, Khiry, and Ingram. I just think we have bigger needs at other positions to take Seastrunk in the 3rd-4th round. We will be taking a WR and CB early, and most likely an edge player and OL. If hes available in the 5th, I would be interested.

If we got Martin at C in the second, I wouldn't mind Seastrunk in the 3rd.

All that being said, I think the Saints pas on Lache and go with a guy you haven't heard of like Devonta Freeman, Jerick McKinnon, LaDarius Perkins, or Henry Josey.

So basically he has the hands of AP, but not AP's running ability.

So he's basically a slightly faster Issac Redman.

I agree... 3-4 pass. 5 or later, maybe

also would create a hell of a log jam at RB. I think it we draft someone, it will be will a specific skillset in mind, IE someone that can catch out the backfield.

Its gonna be hard to have 4 active RBs on gameday, much less 5. Especially when it would be nice to have say, 6 active WR as opposed to 5, considering our lack of depth there.
