Thursdays are a recoup day from Wednesday's drug infusions. I just lay around the house after that. In fact, I ran out of gas today and haven't been outside at all. Been sleeping on and off all day. Guess that 5th of Jim Beam took it's toll on me even though I don't have a bad head.

Those that want to build, start throwing out some dates.

We need to get things together ASAP.

What ab the first weekend in Oct? I have a busy September and I'm sure a lot of people will be teal hunting the last three weekend in Sept. I could commit to Oct for sure

Well, I sent out 5 sets of the plans and everybody paid me. A couple of the guys sent extra money. Thanks. Every bit helps these days. More so when one is on a set income and more so for the though and prays.

If any of y'all are in my hood, please stop in. Always have a cold drink on hand and a seat at my table.

So after a few months hiatus, last night I put the bow and stern boards in and tonight I put the plywood caps on the bow and stern and put in the last seat board.

All I have left now is wood filler, sanding, and paint.

Yep, I know.

How much of that plastic wood did you guys go through? I bought 2 small cans of it a while back and am wondering how much I will need. I know I will need more already.

Cans are ok but the squeeze tubes are better. It will harden in the can from being open so much. I think I used 2 or three tubes. I also used two tubes of latex caulk on the inside floor seams as it went on faster and filled the gaps nicely. don't use silicone as it will not let you paint it.

Keep it cold when using it. Throw it in the frig for a hour or two before opening the can. That should give you longer working time.

If I had a dollar for every fish I caught out a pirogue, I would be a very rich man.

Nice catch.
