How many calories would you guess are in a link of boudin?

obviously that could change a lot from one place to the other....

my guess, on average...400 cals

i mean you can look it up on packaged stuff, but we all know that aint what you want to eat, which means that the stuff we want to eat is much worse!

I always buy the diet boudin. It has 175 calories per serving size.

I was always told that steaming things was the healthy way to go. So when i buy a link of boudin from a gas station that has been steaming i was lied to???

With my high desire to retain sense of taste after 7 months of chemo, about 2 calories at the max.

1800 calories in 4lbs of boudin. If you figure each link is 6-8 oz, then:

64/8=8
1800/8= roughly 225 per link

Is that right?

I think so, but the analysis equates 1 recipe to 1 serving, which is a bit confusing.
