Stuck in LoDo for the evening. Recommend a good place where I can eat at the bar. Likely will end up at Capital Grill, but always open to suggestions.

ETA: Added the proper city

In Denver, I'd just go straight to Falling Rock Taphouse.

I ate solo at a bar over-looking the kitchen downtown last year. It is one of the more well known Italian kind of places.

It was an awsome experience for a lonely business man to sit there and watch them prep, cook, and push the food out. Got to talk to the kitchen help some too and they gave me a few samples of stuff to try.

I ate at Jax Fish House in Denver by myself. I had a whole grilled fish and it was excellent. They had oysters and such, but I didn't try any. The bar was a cool spot to eat.

In LoDo I'd do Root Down or Euclid Hall.

Biker Jim's Gourmet Hotdogs is in Lodo area. Crazy toppings but really tasty. They have good beer selection. Don't think they have a bar but it's fast casual.

Osteria Marco for italian.

Euclid Hall if you like Beer and Sausage. It's a really cool building with some pretty cool history.

Built in 1883 as a house for Dr. Byron Albertus Wheeler, Euclid Hall has been home to the Masons, the Colorado Women's Relief Corps, The Cootie Club, Maudie's Flea Market and is even rumored to have once been the very fancy headquarters of a brothel catering to government officials, law enforcement and members of the media.

Was that Il Posto? I love that place. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend it.
