I'm getting a new roof (hail storm about 4 weeks ago) and am switching TV providers (going with Eatel).

Do these have any value to any one?

When we switched, they told us to just throw it away. However, it does make great scrap metal if you want to take it down to metal works.

So you survived getting bombed with 20 different offers while trying to leave them?

Put it on curb, if someone wants it, they will pick it up. If not, let trash man take it.

Yep, this is true. Depending on what type of dish it is. If it is the hd dish you might can get about $50 for it.

Save it and make a wireless internet antenna and steal some poor fools internet from a couple miles away.

Go about 1500 yards down range and see if you can snipe it off the house.

I have one of these on my roof from previous homeowner. I've never used it and would love to take it down but I was concerned about the holes it would leave in the roof. Screw holes and what not. Is that not a problem? I dont want water damage from the screw or bolt holes. If I take it down, do I plug them? If so, How?

The easiest thing is to just take down everything but the mounting plate. No dish, no holes, no problems.
