Anything by Kim Gruenenfelder. Right now I'm reading Spiritual Guru: Real Estate, Yoga, and Lies. Can't remember the author.

I recently read "everything is perfect when you're a liar" (no italics on my ipad) so, something like that. That is a "chick" book though.

I like to see a Douglas Adams recommendation.

There is a lot of humor in Bill Bryson books.

If you're looking for humor that is female and southern-centric, my wife gave me some Celia Rivenbark books she had read several years ago. They were actually very funny.

I enjoyed Fargo Rock City and Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman.

Remember laughing a pretty good bit at Augusten Burroughs Running With Scissors and Magical Thinking, as well.

Confederacy of dunces was very funny

Education of Littletree was very funny.

Interesting back stories on both authors also.

If you can find a copy of Run with the Horsemen by Ferral Sams, it has some seriously funny and seriously intense parts to it.
