Leftovers...Vietnamese lettuce wraps, chicken fried rice, and maybe a few Vietnamese egg rolls.

I'm in the quarter on a couple's trip. We have reservations at 3 different places and staying at the Hilton beside Harrah's. I'm getting anxious about supper because these $8 beers are giving me heartburn.

I will report back with results.

Bastard! Is Adrian's grocery still around? They used to have great seasoned chicken quarters.

Beef and veggie stir fry. Supremely mediocre, I might add.

The biggest and prettiest crappie I have ever caught came from Eagle Lake. It has been a while, but it probably was in the early spring when the river was putting water into the lake.

Smoked baby backs, strip steaks, grilled shrimp and roasted Brussels sprouts. Blantons, El Dorado 15 and some white cans.

Never ended up eating last night. We went to the restaurant at Cafe Adelaide and never left the bar when it was time for our table. After that, we hit Pat O's for a while. The bartender at the Hilton thought it was my best interest to not have any other drinks whenever it was we got back there. I politely went to my room, made a drink, and went back down.

I did hammer on this jewel at Camelia Grill a few hours ago though.

No wonder you ain't eating supper. That looks like it'd be hell on a good stomach, much less a green one.
