"Well Colin, we played a contain defense, and he had no idea how to combat it. Not sure why no other team ever tried that."

That was pretty lackluster. I thought he'd ask Miles something about LSU.

Colin always seems to give LSU credit though. He picked against us last year some but always contends that we are a top tier program.

It's hard to listen to miles sometimes! I just want to shake the guy and tell him to spit it out already

I hope people understand that every NFL team will look at what LSU did to stop and employ the same tactics. It will be interesting to see how his career goes having to face 31 LSU's in the NFL.

He's not going to be a successful NFL QB

If only Saban would have thought of that

Maybe he'll go to a team with a decent defense

They won't even have to. Manziel running a pro style offense is going to be pretty easy to stop.

How so? I'm sure his team will adjust the offense for his talents

I'm convinced that Miles trolls the media.

Did Russell Wilson have more talent in college than Manziel?

Russell Wilson has two things Manziel will not. A badass defense and a beastly RB.

Wilson had just as much.

And his strengths translated better to the NFL. He played in a pro style offense, huge arm, great decision maker, few mistakes / turnovers, and a freakishly high football IQ. Hes also faster than Manziel too, which is surprising.

I read an article a few months ago about how Wilson had the highest score ever by some analytical group, but they thought it was a fluke because he was going in the 3rd round and didnt get that much attention pre draft and what not, so they threw it out.

Cant remember where I read that at, but will look for it.

Wilson was a helluva college QB at NCState & Wisconsin.

You ask if he had more "talent" , but that would depend on how you want to quantify that data.

In my opinion, Wilson was a better college QB than Manziel. Maybe not as spectacular in his athleticism , but he played the position extremely well.

He's also a better passer with much better mechanics. Most importantly, he's able to make plays from the pocket.
