I actually somewhat liked Prometheus except for the zombie and the stupid ending.
I mean, what the heck does she think she is going to do when she gets to the aliens planet?
Not to mention the lack of food and water for her to consume on her long trip.

I though Prometheus was great and still don't understand all of the hate it gets. Yeah, there were many plot holes such as the goo and shrine mural on the wall(which btw I believe reveals A LOT). I think it was done purposely to jerk off the imagination.
I want to see how the story ends!

Not sure why so many hate on Prometheus so much. I was thoroughly entertained and even own on blu ray. Sure there are some questions that are unanswered but overall pretty solid Sci fi thriller. Will watch 2 definitely.

I understand. I'll watch I and might enjoy it on a base level. Buttttt I refuse to see Prometheus as cannon. Not one iota of it. It ruins the magic if the Alien movies. It was non-sensical and the philosophy ing was shoved down the viewers throats. Hell, I prefered AVP to Prometheus.

To be later retitled because it will actually NOT be a sequel to Prometheus, but it will actually a prequel that is only remotely related to Prometheus by featuring everything in the movie except for a clear connection.

I never wanna be that guy, but Prometheus just sucked balls. Don't get me wrong, it looked beautiful, I like all the actors, they did good work with what they were presented, but the story was bullshite. Plus, it annoys the shite outta me they said it wasn't a prequel, still include all the callbacks to Alien, and then say "no, no...this is a completely other planet and alien that all look exactly the same as what you saw in Alien." I'll be skipping the next one unless it's somehow universally amazing.
