Louisiana/Southern- Cafe 615 Da Wabbit, Sun Ray grill, New Orleans food and spirits
Nicer restaurant - O'Brien's Grille (on par with most nicer New Orleans restaurants)
Chinese/Asian- Thanh Thanh, China Doll

There used to be a place called Visko's, then it became the Beef Connection. It was on Lafayette Street at Whitney Blvd, if my memory serves me correctly. It's been a long, long time. Doubt if it's there any more, but they had a great steak.....

I've never eaten at the China Doll. Red Palace is better than any Chinese I've ever had though. I make it a point to eat there for lunch every time I find myself on that side of the river at lunch time. The fresh egg rolls with their sweet and sour sauce is amazing, and I'm typically not an egg roll fan. It's almost like the food issue to order, it's so fresh.

China doll is my go to. I been eating there for so many years and just never tried another place so there may be other good ones. Now that I moved from the wank to lafy I eat CD when I go in so no time to experiment lol.
Perinos is good to for seafood on the expy

I went to Tan Dinh.
Had the pork spring rolls and Shrimp Paste on sugarcane bun.
Pretty darn good.
Next time I'm trying Mo's, then chinese.
