Do you sometimes use ground shipping even though you have Prime?

I will de-select 2-day shipping and select ground if its an item I'm in no hurry to get. Just feel sorta guilty about having Amazon pay the slight extra cost when its totally unnecessary. I suspect this may be considered a "beta" move.

So you pay $80 a year not to use prime?

That doesn't make any sense to me

I use it plenty. Around 80% of the time. However if I won't need the thing in any hurry I don't see the need to rush it.

...You pay for that ability to get stuff sooner. Not taking advantage of that is a waste of the Prime subscription.

Maybe If people weren't so apt to use 2-day all willy nilly then Amazon wouldn't need to raise prices.

During Christmas I will because it's like a $1.00 credit in their music or video service back.

As for why the frick you'd do it now...

Basically, this was a thread proclaiming that he's holier than thou. Similar to people, who after every good deed they do, run to Facebook, TD, or anyone who will listen, and proclaim how awesome they are.

Their email that they sent out said that they haven't raised the price of Prime in like 7 years or something and that it was a needed change. i believe them even though i am sure that they have ridiculously low shipping rates through FedEX and UPS considering how much they ship.

Uh...you're paying for the freeness of two day shipping. I don't understand this at all.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

9.5 hours left in the day and I've already found the dumbest thing I'm going to read all day.

OP has saved me all that time!
