Had some yesterday for the first time. I tried some pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. Also had a little potato salad. Overall thought it was pretty good. Never see much about it on the FDB, interested to see what y'all think

I like it. I know Jambo likes it because he works right there and eats it a good bit.

I ate there once and got the pulled pork. Pretty good, nothing special. A decent value when I'm in the area. Not something I'd write home about, but it satisfies my cravings for pulled pork. I haven't tried the brisket yet as they were out of it the last time I went. Has anyone had it?

ya'll do a good brisket? Are ya'll still typically open around dinner time during the week? Are ya'll open any on the weekends?

pretty sure it's just lunch, or it used to be. might be different with longer days now.

I had the special today. I liked it. Next time I'll try the brisket. The beans were simple and perfect, the mac and cheese was good. The sauce was tangy and just the right spice. I liked the cumin flavor it had. The only thing I would do different would be to put some sharper/stinkier cheese in the mac to make it sand out more. No complaints. Good job B!

Government St between Park and Eugene. It's more of a take-out place with a couple of outdoor picnic tables.

I like their ribs, their beans and potato salad are ok. I may have to try the mac & cheese next time.

Just tried it for the first time. Really enjoyed the ribs, sausage, and tater salad.

Chris Cook had brothers till about 8 years ago.

Rod/Matt/Vanessa had sweets until they shut shop after Isaac.

Chris is a hell of a guy to hang out with.

I have been debating stopping in for the last few months as I drive by about 1000 times a day

I stopped there one night and loaded up. He was closing so he loaded down our plates with extras.

It was very good. It's not my go-to spot for when I work on the rental property in BR.
