Had some Smokin aces today. Pulled pork was a little dry, rib was a bit tough but tasty. Brisket was where it was at today. I like their sausage too.

Sauce is sweet but tangy. Overall good Q.

I really enjoy your food but you need to teach the guy working the register some manners. Like acknowledging the customer standing at your window. Don't undress my old lady with your eyes while I'm standing in front of you ordering. The proper response when someone says thank you is, "You're welcome."

Not bashing the joint. Really want it to thrive. But I'd want someone to tell me if it were my business.

You're absolutely right. I would have put my foot up his arse if I was there. Can you describe the guy you're talking about? I think I know, but there are 4 different people now.

Appreciate the heads up, it will NOT be overlooked.

I literally laughed out loud. Reminds me of that scene from The Wire.

If you want others to respect your "old lady" why don't you start showing respect yourself by addressing her properly?

I finally went to try it one day and they were closed because the storms the night before had knocked out their power.

I ended up at Whole Foods instead.

Because Baton Rouge

My choices were Podnuh's (mediocre brisket), Voodoo (awful), Smokin' Aces (closed that day), Couyan's (closed for good), or Whole Foods (suprisingly good brisket), it's easy to see why I picked what I picked.

The Baton Rouge BBQ scene is just really really really bad.

Haven't had anything from Smokin Aces ( will change that soon), but the brisket from whole foods is pretty damn good. Usually when I crave BBQ and don't have time to do it myself I'll go grab something from WF

No but I know who they are talking about.

The kid isn't disrespectful at all. But he is now tossed under the bus
