James Harden had very impressively won both of the 2 prior weeks, congrats to Blake on a great week.

didn't realize individual awards were awarded based on group accomplishments.

The week before, Pelicans went 3-0

Davis averaged 30/15/4ast/3blks

Needs more lobs off the glass, apparently.

As crazy as Davis' numbers may be, he never looks for the highlight play. He hustles and keeps his mouth shut.

Last night he could have easily padded his numbers at the end of that game. Instead he catches the ball under the rim and dribbles away from the basket to run out the clock.

This. Which is awesome. You know who else scores a bunch but rarely from the "highlight play"? KD.

The jump shot, touch off the glass, and layups have become a "boring" brand of basketball to the media and random people. Yet it counts the same and it takes a much better player to score like that than it does to dunk it.

Doesnt matter to me that AD didnt win the award. I would like for him to get it, but in time all the individual accolades will come for him. But i am glad to see that the media is starting to talk about him and most of the big bball analysts people are in awe of him.
