Anyone ever freeze boudin?

Was gonna make a run next week and stock up. Does it keep well?

If they vacuum seal it. Just keep it frozen, then boil the vacuum packed bags and enjoy.

I'll buy some when I go through Lake Charles and freeze what I don't eat. Turn it into boudin balls, egg rolls, or empanadas later on. Works great.

lake charles has some decent places

nothing wrong with the smoked boudin at market basket

also hackets on hwy 14 is legit. ive had them all in Southern LA and yes there are betters but nothing wrong with the above mentioned in LC

T-Boy in Mamou has it frozen. It's labeled "microwave boudin." From the freezer, you toss it in on high for 7 minutes, and it's perfect. I usually go 6, then toss it on the grill to crisp up.
