I mean it got me! I was quite happy when I left the theater.

I didn't think this about Frozen but Sophia has me very suspicious. That Blue Ribbon Bunny has his eye on that little princess gooch. I just know it.

Lol, you read HuffPo.

Seriously though, why do you have to infect the best board onTD with an inflammatory topic like this?

I read lots of news and entertainment sources.

Anyway, I just thought this was so ridiculous that nobody on this board would take it seriously.

If I really wanted to fan flames I'd take it to the poli board.

I have a lot to say about the White Disney Princesses vs. Tiana.

I don't know, but I've come to love this movie so much that I nicknamed my penis Olaf.

I don't get the love for this movie. It was the typical Disney story line. If you've seen one you've seen them all.

A true love's kiss will give Ariel her voice back. A true love's kiss will revive Anna. Yep, no similarities there at all there Nappy.

Disney movies are formulaic. If you enjoy them that cool with me. It's your time and money.

Except is wasn't that, the act of true love that saved Anna was her sacrificing herself to save Elsa even after all that went down.

The true loves kiss in frozen was just a red herring.

Whatever. It's still "true love" conquers all. I guess after watching so many Disney films from since I was a child, with my children and now grandson they all kind of become the same movie.

It's very self-aware in its play on old, classic Disney tropes.

And a shite ton of movies conform to Campbell's Monomyth theory. Doesn't mean LoTR, Star Wars, Hook, Men In Black, etc etc etc are all the same movie

It's kind of doing right what the Little Mermaid did wrong. I've fallen for girls plenty of times for 3 days at a time. The only real connection Eric and Ariel had was that they were both attractive people, and that's basically it. Anna and Elsa though, that makes more sense. Disney has been parodying themselves and really playing with the formula since Beauty and the Beast, and it's typically paid off.
