I dont know if he reads the rant (I sure hope he doesnt) but if he does I thought it would be cool for him to see that there is a ton of support and appreciation for him and the mens basketball team. Stringer has been a great tiger for the past four years. He has always given his all on the court and played the game the right way. Most people throw their uneducated opinion around recklessly and post the most absurd subjective comments based off of very little data (more so with LSU basketball than any other sport). As little as the rantards know about football, they even know less about basketball. I hope all of our players realize that the majority of what they read on here is the minority opinion.
There has been many who have questioned this teams effort and intensity. While I may have questioned this myself at times (especially on the road), I can surely appreciate the amount of dedication it takes to be college athlete. Anybody who watched the UGA game this saturday could see how much Stringer wanted that game. He was relentless on defense, aggressive on every loose ball, moved well in the press, and was intense throughout. He was aggressive on offense. His play has spoken for itself. I made it a point to focus on how he played the game saturday. It was a microcosm of his career. I for one just wanted to post that I have enjoyed watching him play these past four years and appreciate the dedication to the school we all claim to support. Here is to hoping he has 4 more SEC games to play and a few more after that(even if it is the NIT).
I know Stringer's brother posts here, so maybe he can forward this thread to him to show him that we have enjoyed what is now a rarity in college basketball -- a four year player who is/will be an ambassador to the program even after his playing days are done.

Dude has become one of my favorite Tigers in his 4 years here. Gonna miss him next season, but I wish him the best of luck.

Always been a big fan of Andre. I will miss him moving forward. Will be a great player over seas. Hopefully one day we can see him in the coaching ranks. I know he loves the sport.

I will miss those parking-lot threes of his. He really developed his game over the 4 years and has been a great representative of Tiger Basketball. Best of luck to him in all things!

I'm going to miss that little guy. He played with such intensity and wasn't afraid to take a shot anywhere on the court - whether amongst the trees in the lane or from 4 ft behind the 3-pt line.
Here's to you, Andre!

He was probably my favorite player these last 2-3 years. I'm gonna miss #10 out there.

As a basketball poster, this is a necessary evil. I almost always keep one interesting stat off my previews so I can use it to bump once something has gone stale. Just the way it is...

I know. It's really sad. But I'll continue with the most classic LSU Basketball phase of the century...
