As a member of the 4500 club, I want to thank the young man for being a model citizen and doing all he could to bring victory to the team. A true Tiger forever.I enjoyed watching him these 4 years.

you would be very suprised at some of the people that read this board....

and I agree...I was totally impressed when Stringer left his home state to become a tiger, and 4 years later, I am still totally impressed...

thanks for being a tiger.....

Don't give up on it. It's a great thread.

It would seem that posters here are disinterested in a positive story, particularly if it pertains to basketball. They find it easier to be negative than positive, which is common in most public arenas. It's not a secret that political spin doctors try to word all referendums so they give a "yes/no" answer. Reason being that psychologists have discovered that people in general find it easier to say "no" than "yes".

Lots of posters here already know my opinion of Andre. I've loved (and do love) Andre for his playing, his effort, his loyalty, his passion for the game and his character.

He's been a special player for us and I'm going to miss him a lot.

If we get any more good wishes on this thread, I'll print them up and give them to him at the SEC tournament.

I'm in this - have just been avoiding basketball threads.

I hope Andre gets to live his dream.

He is and will always be a great Tiger.

I admire Andre's attitude and his willingness to take any open shot, even if it's from way downtown. He makes them more than people think! Probably a bigger defensive headache than most people realize. Thank you for your good play these past 4 years as an LSU Tiger.

Agree and recognition for Stringer is warranted. He's been a great Tiger and I wish him well in whatever he wants to do.

Thank you Andre for hanging tough through some difficult times. Instead of running away, you put forth great effort to make this program better.

I hope you are successful after basketball and that your degree and experience serves you well. Thank you for being an LSU Tiger !
