I still need to have somebody come out and look at my roof after the hail storm a couple weeks ago. I called Garcia and spoke to a person who said they'd forward my information along to the estimator but I haven't heard back from anybody.

Can anybody point me in the direction of some respectable roofing companies I can call that will come out and take a look? Thanks.

Well, like I said, I tried to reach out to them already but if I can't get anybody to come out I need to try and find somebody else.

Blanco Brothers Roofing. Not to be mistaken with Blanco's roofing. I'm a contractor and they are pretty much the best. I used Garcia and Concept roofing also. Great companies, usually a little more expensive than Blanco Brothers.

Call your insurance company to send an adjuster out first. Your adjuster determines what u need not a roofing company.

pretty unusual for gabrial garcia to not return calls/show up. he's not the cheapest but he's company is the best ive ever used. he's roofed over 150 houses for me and not a one has ever had a roofing call-back

I have to file a claim in order to get an adjuster out. I'd rather have a roofing company come out first and then if they determine I have damage I will file a claim and have an adjuster come out. Each one is probably going to be a little biased to their own interests I'm sure. Which is why I would rather have both come out.

Really what insurance company requires you to file a claim first? never heard of this before. (Ive inspected thousands of houses)

So why would u file a claim if u are not even sure if there are damages or not?

Farm Bureau. I called my agent directly and asked him what to do and this is what he told me.

Most of them require a claim to be filed for an adjuster to inspect...

I'm almost certain that an adjuster is only needed when an insurance claim is filed.

If you want to have the roofing company inspect your roof, they'll probably be glad to recommend a full roof replacement.

It's like asking a car parts dealer to tell you what needs to be replaced on your car.

Of course the roofing company will want to replace the whole thing. . More money for them. Who says the insurance is gonna cover the whole thing

I'm not understanding why OP what's the roofing company to inspect the roof.

An adjuster will determine what needs replacing but they absolutely have to provide sufficient evidence before the insurance company pays out. The adjuster makes a little but even when the claim is denied so they should have no bias. I'm sure there are some bad apples out there, though.
