It's very similar to Bistineau. Lot's of Cypress tress. Deeper and not quite as bowl shaped as Caddo or Cross. Be careful running North, there aren't any boat roads marked other than license plates, beer cans and the occasional traffic sign along the creek. I heard Salvania was pretty bad, especially North. Pretty good fishing right around the bridge.

From what Ive heard, it is getting BAD out there. Sounds like if something doesnt happen, it will get taken over.

Yeah, it's bad out there. A friend of mine has a camp on it and he was just posting pics on Facebook about how bad the salvania is already and it's not even the "growing season" yet.

Very good centralized location. You have the Red river, Saline, and Grassy bayou with in 30 mins. Caney is around 1 1/2 hr away.
