It's not Stugotz.

It's one of his other usual guys.. Bennett?

..even with Zach's ACL injury.

Well Mett did play in the SEC. So I'll agree. I'd take Mett over that little Louisville QB, wasshisname?

Did he make that argument because he is really down on Bortles or because he really likes Mett?

The truth is most people just don't realize what Mett's real potential is. He has the best arm in the draft. He was throwing the ball as good as I have seen in a long time until his injury.

Note: His accuracy problems were a result of his injury.

Was he injured last year too? He's got a big arm and can make every throw (even with pass rushers bearing down on him) but his accuracy and especially his touch on the deep ball need to improve if he's going to be a good NFL QB

Yeah, he seemed to overthrow 4 out of 5 deep balls. Missed a lot of open receivers down the field the past two years because of it.

He has an absolute cannon and may be the best pure intermediate passer in the draft. If he commits to being an elite quarterback, the only thing that will hold him back will be his complete lack of mobility. He can be Drew Bledsoe 2.0 I think, which would amount to a pretty successful NFL career.

Bomani's Twitter Account is on point. Two examples:

During the 2012 LSU/Bama game, he live Tweeted after JC Copeland's long Pass Reception, "Kimbo Slice or Rick Ross playing for LSU just caught a 50 yard pass."

After the SI piece on Okie State, he Tweeted, "Where the sex at?"

I would trust nfl scouts more than batard. We will see pretty soon how they are thought of by the nfl.

I cant stand the show either. That three o'clock spot on ESPN has been brutal the last couple of years. But I do believe Bortles to be a career back up.

The Louisville kid is a player. IMO, he is the most NFL ready out of the top three names.

Someone on NFL radio said that for a big guy Bortles didn't have a big arm. I have never seen him play but just going off various reports their are questions about each of the top three. If I'm Houston, there isn't any question that Clowney would be my #1 pick. He has all the physical tools. The only thing that people question is his work ethic and that's something you can improve on. Take him and get a Mettenberger later. Now, there is the risk that if Mettenberger really lights it up at pro day he could go earlier in the 2nd round but Houston has that first pick too.
