I feel like "lack of character development" is the standard excuse that unsophisticated movie-goers use to criticize a film to seem smart when they don't realize that not all films are "character" films....

I think alot of what i liked about Mad Men were the life experiences i was going through at the time. Not sure i would have liked the show in college....
