I was thinking this. I'm equal parts straight up a-hole and good guy.

I feel like I am 100% more of an arse online as in real life I am too much of a people pleaser.

reading an email I got from the ASPCA for donating service and parts, and then another from a user of another forum telling me I am banned for being a trolling a-hole. Kind of made me think of it. lol

You're allowed to be an a-hole online as long as you give some worthwhile advice every now and again.

Karma gives you a passing grade.

Karma is bullshite. Everyday I hear/experience good people, people that try to do the right thing get shite on while people that lie/cheat/steal get the upper hand.

There are no Juste deserts other than those we serve up ourselves.

My real good deed of the week was just now.

I'm on Tigerdroppoings upstairs participating in a cop bashing thread. (of course they were wrong to kill that guy, but I digress) my dog is going nuts. I see no car outside so I go downstairs to see.
There is an old man by the door, it's Jose the old man across the street.
He is locked out of his house and it is pouring raining. He needs to get a ride to Causeway to get a key. So I oblige, and bring him to his wife's work. She thanks me and I bring him back.

He was very happy and it was nice to talk to him, I hadn't really ever had but one or two conversations in the years he has been a neighbor.

So walking away from my beloved internet to give a guy a ride in the cold. Good deed of the day.

Yes.

I didn't realize I'd been writing it wrong until I was looking up etymologies of sayings the other day.

I try to be the same person all the time, I'm no different in real life than I am online.

I try to do what is right and avoid being insecure or passive aggressive.

For most things that aren't a big deal to me I am either a people pleaser or just let it be. For things that I am passionate about I stand up and don't budge easily and if pushed too far I release the fury

It works, I like who I am and sleep very well at night

Yeah, but it doesn't work. I'm convinced you can't make up for the wrongs you've done to other people no matter how many good deeds you do, because of the chains of events that take place. It appeases the mind a bit though. Maybe I'm just so in debt to my Karma bank I'll never have total peace of mind though.

I'm fine too. But as (especially here) I am IRL'd more and more, I feel that my image here is of an a-hole with a complex.
My own fault. lol
But being the internet it's so much easier to just lash out, rather than nod your head and go with it.

You were supposed to get 4 of your buddies and sit on him while pepper spraying his face and handcuffing him.

THAT will teach him not to lock himself out of the house.

I think there is an element of truth to this for everyone... However, I think it all comes down to our selfish nature. We do shite to piss people off or take advantage of them because it amuses us or otherwise benefits us in some way. Conversely, we do nice, seemingly unselfish things to assuage our guilt or to avoid the karma wheel coming back around on us.

Maybe ol' Rust has us figured out...

I'm the Michael Jordan of being a son of a bitch. Plain and simple.

Anyone want to meet me in Carcosa for a 16oz Lonestar tomorrow after lunch?

I don't think you can consciously try and make karma. It is something subconsciously done. Can't go and think about something before you do it.

That being said, having good karma doesn't do a damn thing for anyone except make them feel good about themselves.

IRL, I am a 50/50 split of nice guy and a-hole. I get pissed off easily at the smallest things, and will do my best to make the other person more pissed than me.

Same here. Although sometimes I find a reason to unleash the fury!!!!

I'm a good guy a-hole.

Although lately I've been thinking about fostering a shelter dog for balance
