The board is getting boring. Hunting is all but over and fishing seems to be slow too.

There's your answer. February is the worst month for hunting/fishing in LA. Yeah there are opportunities to be had but the main sports are dead this time of year.

Ditto, got two new rods this past weekend at Bowie. Spinning/Daiwa Saltiga and Casting/Abu Garcia Vendetta. Vendetta looks pretty. Both are 7 footers, I've always at 6'6" rods so I can't wait to see what extra distance I can get out of the extra 6".

It's pretty good. Gets slow at times but a pretty cool book.
