My friend gets all defensive when I tell him there's no black panthers on our hunting land, in plaquemine, in louisiana, even in the US. He swears they are on our land, that he saw one, his uncle killed one, his friend has pics of them behind his house. Please tell me your take on black panthers so maybe enough people can convince him they aren't on our hunting land.

I'm not trolling, I'm sitting around a fire with people who swear a black panther is going to attack us in our tents tonight.

Yeah why I haven't seen these pics OR the dead black panther, I have no idea. Another guy saw a cougar(not black) in bulltail while squirrel hunting. How the hell are there so many mountain lions in iberville parish?!?!

No such thing.

There are black leopards, and black jaguars. Neither are in LA.

even if there were black panthers in LA, there is very very little chance that it would attack a group of adult humans. dumb choice for a predator that can easily eat other farm animals or pets.

wild animals are scared of human beings because we kill them, and even without weapons present a real threat to their health. a single broken bone or lost eye can easily spell doom for a wild animal. that is why there are very limited circumstances in which any predators try to kill humans.

now with snakes and certain spiders, good luck. they bite you in defense and can kill or severely maim. nothing you can do about that.
