Recovery hitch visible in this one too.

Tailgate dent mod I did backing into a tree.

Still have to plasti dip the mounting hardware black.

I bought a 30 ft recovery strap and a legit recovery bracket for the front as well. Here's an image of the front bracket.

Only thing left to do is add led lighting under the tie down rails in the back so we can see our shite. Thinking amber...you can cut and wire them where they will be a perfect fit. Still gotta figure out how to have an on/off switch in the bed and a dimmer on the dash...next project.

Flat yak on next page.

It's not that bad, but hard tops do look a little better. It's functioning and probably not too expensive so I don't see the issue here.

You mean how secure is my shite in there? It's not outside of being a bit hidden.

How secure to the bed? Insanely. If it flew off on the road I'd expect not to have a plastic bed in there at all. That would be epic. It has six clamps to the accessory rail. I installed it with 2 extra so I wouldn't have to worry about it. They sent them free.

I took the tailgate apart to push it out. I popped the biggest part of the dent out with my palm. I tried to air up a bike tube in there to pop more out, but I felt stupid and it absolutely didn't work. That was a paintless dent repair 'trick' I learned on youtube.

For 12 V to the rear, run ya a 12 V wire from the battery, thru the chassy, to a perko switch mounted in the rear.

Looks good. I actually like the soft top better. Hardtops always leave me asking why they didn't just get a suv.

nice looking top, Bestop makes good quality replacement soft tops for jeeps, just get some cleaner/lubricant for the zippers and you'll be set

Wow, i find myself really liking that thing as a,"spur of the moment", cover

for instance, this would be perfect for my newer truck as i can put it on/off without the assistance of anybody else

I just found out that this will be going on in my son's nose on the 28th. I'm hoping for a better result.

The tan soft topper would look awesome on my truck, but I went bestop for a few reasons. I didn't like that the softopper didn't have back pillars when rolled up. I've already taken my windows out and it'll stay that way most of the time. Bestop had black hardware. Softopper has one Bimini structure and this one has two, so with windows out access is real nice. I researched the shite out of it, and it was real tough to walk away from the tan softopper.
