Whatever make and model you prefer. Both crew cab. Both 2011. Basically equal in every way but 2.

4wd pushing 100k miles or 2wd pushing 30k.

Assume both had one owner and car fax and all scheduled maintenance.

Depends. Do you Need 4wd? If you can do without it, obviously get the 2wd. If you absolutely need 4wd, look for another one with lower miles.

If I lived and worked in the same city I'd go 4 wheel. Personally I drive way to far way to often to buy a truck with 100k.

Agreed, but that wasn't on the quick option list.

I got a 2013 ford XLT crew cab with 132 Miles on it for 26k yesterday. They have a 2012 lariat loaded to the gills for 28k down the road. No way I'd pay 30k for a three year old truck.

i just checked the value of my truck out of curiosity after you posted this. trade in value is right at 26k, private party sale is 31k and thats for a 4 year old truck.

you know your own habits and what you need a truck for. if you can get away with the 2wd, it's clearly a slam dunk. if you need 4wd, it doesnt matter if the 2wd is brand fricking new for $100, it's useless to you as a vehicle.

I would go with 2wd. I very rarely lock my truck in 4wd but it's nice when I need it.

I have 4x4. I don't think this dude actually NEEDS 4wd. Just a conversation we were having. Thought I'd ask the OB

If he doesn't need a 4wd, get the 2wd with less miles.
