I've got a buddy that lives in West Mecca that pulls them out of his terlet each morning before daylight. He puts pics of his triumphs on FB before most can open their eyes. It's odd because we are on a group text and he is the last one to text each evening and the first to do so the next morning with buckets of white perch. The ole pamixus annularis.

I know who you speak of, and yes he does catch some crappie.

How do y'all differentiate between white crappie and black crappie? What do you call 'em? I've seen some on this board say white perch as well. Black saucalait?
