I have never changed a diaper, but I have put a new one on my niece after she was cleaned up...that's the extent of my experience.

Does it make you gag every time?

Breastfed babies don't stink that bad. They do have more blow outs though.

no, i don't care. my husband acts like it's the worst thing he's ever seen in his life, so I typically change the diapers

just fyi so you don't freak- the poop is going to be tar like and black for a couple of days in the very beginning

You get used to your own kid's poop, but don't ask me to change someone else's kid's diaper without .

You're going to want to hope the child is legitimate.

No. I get used to it. Obviously the really loose ones can get a little foul smelling, but for the most part you clean it up, tie it up in a grocery bag, and hang it on the doorknob outside until the next time you take the trash out. If you're really redneck hang it on your front door instead of your back door.

It's your child, you get used to it pretty quickly.

We are expecting in 10 weeks and you are my superior in diaper changing experience.

We have a "Diaper Genie". I told my wife that apparatus was staying in the garage.

Nah, most baby shits don't really smell terrible until they start eating solid food. By that time you are use to it

It's SO tough in the beginning. She will want to quit a few times. But Make it through 2 months and it'll be easy.

Encourage her and throw out all the free formula they send you.

It's *so* worth it.
