Hill comes with red flags, though. Off-field issues are there, and they'll be something teams have to investigate thoroughly before selecting the talented runner. While he was already on probation for another arrest in 2011, Hill was arrested outside a bar last April after punching another man. NFL teams will look the other way if you're talented enough, though, and Hill has day one starting ability at one of the most important positions on the field.

Screams lazy reporting to me honestly. He had his troubles and before and throughout the 2013 season, he had absolutely no issues.

Was just about to say similar. Will that shite ever go away?
He is a winning ticket IMHO.

I don't buy the "red flags" talk. I will say that three out of the four guys ahead of him are arguably better imo.

Hill is the best RB in this class imo.

Looking at that list I fail to see a running back better than Hill.

Is April not considered before the season?

I'm not trying to say he's a POS, but let's not act like he's that far removed from an incident

ETA: The only reason why Hill isn't higher is because the writer stuck him at 5 because of his "character issues". Nothing to do with his on field play.

If this was solely based on his football skills, he would be #1 RB on that list, no doubt in my mind.

Carlos Hyde is Buckeye for DeShawn Wynn. Search your feelings. You know it to be true.

He and a friend sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl, and he sucker punched someone.

That will not just go away.

I agree. Look how allegations of sexual assault (or worse) completely derailed the careers of Lawrence Taylor, Ben Roethlisberger, Kobe Bryant, Bill Cosby, Mike Tyson, Jameis Winston, and Craig James (with murder to boot, allegedly).

Do people expect him to go into interviews and just be like " i expect to punch people again, I am not done with that yet"

Interviews are going to be the key, if he performs at the combine and opens up he will be the top back drafted I believe. Main thing will be openly answering the questions from coaches and team personnel

Yes, and I still think I would take Hill over them. The one statement I'll make is I'm not too familiar with the other RBs because I didn't really watch them this year.

It's my opinion though, so you can disagree with me if you want.

This is pre-combine. I belive Hill will help himself at the combine and be ranked universally higher after.

Dude can run and might have top end speed that some of those others don't. I'm gonna guess that he runs in the mid-upper 4.4's at the combine. Maybe a 4.5 flat. He definitely has more top end than Ware and Ridley did.

When Hill hit the open field last year only Chris Davis from Auburn caught him.
