I got a Bayou Classic pot from Lowe's that I'm happy with. I think most people mess up by getting cheap burners.

I'd go with the 120qt. Plenty of room to get a large sack and the fixings going with room to move.

you can fit damn near 2 sacks in a 120. I think that is overkill because i doubt you have a burner or regulator to heat it efficiently.

Ok.

I've been using the same pot for 30 years with a jet burner. I've never had any issues.

I have a 100qt. There is more than enough room for a sack and everything else. It gets tight with an 80 qt though.

I wouldn't pay for a rocket pot. Go with a standard 100qt, and get a high output burner.

I bought a double jet burner on Amazon. I changed the regulator to a 40psi. It is very bad boy.

the jet, nor the 40psi reg isnt your bottle neck, it is your surface are of the liquid in your tank. I built a jet that connects 2 tanks to one jet. that thing is great. i havent used in a year or so but when i tested with/without the dual tanks i think it was like 5 mins to 9 minutes to go from tap temp to boil.

We have one just like it. For smaller boils we also have a burner that is quiet. It might take a little longer to boil but you can stand around, drink a beer, and have a conversation without yelling at each other. Not the exact one but it looks something like this.

Mine will do it consistently at 9 minutes. Speed is only a factor working for big get togethers.

I have used a 80qt my whole life...everybody now buys a 100qt for some reason. Maybe people put more than potatoes, garlic, onions, and lemons in their boil
