The main reason I haven't eaten one in over 5 years...

I have seen this before and it has left an indelible scar on my brain cells. The McRib gets the same treatment of the ingredients, and from my perspective all of the burgers at the same time as they don't taste like beef when cooked.

That process is why you stopped eating them? That's a hell of a lot better than I thought. I'm sure it was cleverly done to hide the disgusting parts of the pro-cess though.

Did you watch the same video I just watched? All they did was mix up chicken breasts with chicken skin and then stamp them into nugget shapes. OMG! SO SHOCKING!

You apparently didn't watch the video.

Watched the video.
Pretty good looking process and not a bad looking product. I guess some will be offended by ground chicken breast meat, but I'll just stop there.
I can't tell you when I purchased a McNugget - probably not in the last 5 years, but I would not be reluctant to eat one for lunch in the place of the half of a peanut butter and raisin sandwich on wheat bread I will enjoy.
Here - I'll keep some who view this from being able to sleep the rest of February:

I don't think some of you even watched the video.

I too was expecting a lot worse than what I saw.

They didn't. Just saw the dog terd looking glob of pink shite and jumped to a conclusion.

Did you even watch the video? McDonalds isn't the greatest food in the universe or anything, but I'm not really sure how anyone can be that offended by grinding up split chicken breasts and putting batter on them.

Yeah that actually made it looked good.
Posted on 2/4/14 at 9:05 am to bigberg2000
The video did leave out all of the other shite that is apparently in the batter but overall it looked pretty good.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I "slum it up" every now and then eat chicken nuggets.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the video. I was expecting much worse. I didn't expect as much "hands on" like when they were trimming the chicken breasts by hand.

if that video grossed anyone out you should watch the slaughtering and evisceration parts of the plant
Posted on 2/4/14 at 9:13 am to Degas
There was another video recently that showed some guy with a high-powered microscope probing into a chicken McNugget and there were all sorts of fibers and non-chicken things inside. Has anybody else seen that?
Posted on 2/4/14 at 9:19 am to HoustonGumbeauxGuy
I know where I'm going to lunch.

I didn't, and that is not how they do it either so that unseen video is a damned lie. The product made into nuggets is processed in so many chemical reactions it should be illegal to call it a food product at all. Tons of a product called pink slime(one step involves ammonia) are the product shaped into nuggets, anyone that watches the video that I have seen and still walks into a Mickey is clearly and plainly crazy as hell to order them.
