High concentration in the highly liberal pacific northwest. Not surprised.

All fine and dandy until that 1 in whatever is YOUR child.. Then how would you feel? Giving your their stand point..Yeah, if the child dies from not getting a vaccine that would be pretty significant... But would you rather know that your child is in a much better place or would you rather be in a situation where you have to take care of your child for the next____years until you die because they aren't capable of caring for themselves?? Still their decision any way you look at it just like it's yours..

why..can't they do their own research and choose whether or not to vaccinate just as you choose to??

Choosing to not vaccinate your child is like choosing to drive drunk. Because not vaccinating your child also will exposed other kids to theses preventable diseases. Just like driving drunk, you are imposing huge risk to the public. You and your family do not live on an island.

For babies that are too young to receive certain vaccinations, like the measles/mumps/rubella/chicken pox, these babies are depending on other kids to protect them from these diseases until they are old enough to get those vaccinations (>1 year).

is this a serious post?

you obviously have never seen anyone die from disseminated viral pneumonia

it happens all the time

autism from vaccines happens never

there is no "parental choice" to make here

You ever watched that series? It's pretty honest and well-researched.

The flu for a middle aged person and the whooping cough vaccination for a new born are two different things. Unless you are a Medical Doctor you shouldn't be allowed to make a vaccination decision.

Well said. Not vaccinating is taking being selfish and irresponsible to a new level.

Are you still believing that vaccinations still are linked to autism? Come on... even in the Pen and Teller video, they said that there are no link!

It has been proven over and over again that vaccinations have absolutely no link to autism or any other developmental problems. Are you going to believe a playboy centerfold or a discredited doctor more than solid medical science and data?

Don't be that person.

SO you would rather a dead child than an autistic child?

I don't have any stats to back me up, but my gut tells me that it has to be an extreme minority of people that actually buy into the anti vaccination movement. It seems that something like poverty would have to be a much bigger contributer to people not getting vaccinated.

Do y'all really think that Jenny McCarthy has that many people seriously taking advice from her?
