Does anyone with Blue Cross Blue Shield participate in the Blue365 deal? You pay $25 a month and they pay the gym.

Anyway, the Anytime closest to me isn't listed in the program, others are.

my question is- If I have a membership at one anytime shouldn't I be able to use them all?

Yeah you can and the locations that don't participate can't do anything about it.

After 30 days, yes

ETA: Your key won't work at other locations for 30 days, but you can go during staffed hours. After 30 days, your key will work.

I do and I go to Snap and Anytime depending on which friend I'm with ... Pretty sweet to have access to both.

Yes, after 30 days, my father signed up in New Orleans because the one down here was $20 cheaper per month.

Did you have to get a separate key scan for Snap?

You have to go to their gym to get the key. Obviously you'll have to use that particular gym for 30 days before you can use them all.

It depends, there are different type of anytime fitness memberships.

So all of their locations are labeled one of sport, super sport etc. it basically means how nice the gym is. If you get a membership to a certain level gym you can use all of those and anything below it. Example I get a membership to a super sport, I can use all super sports and anything lower

Blue365 lists an anytime fitness in Port Allen as a participating gym. I plan on going to pick up my key there and then after 30 days using the anytime closest to my house. Anyone else done this?

I was a member of Anytime in around 2010 and they said I could use other gyms, but if more than half of my check-ins were at any other gym I had to switch my membership. Might want to check on that.

They switch it automatically and keep it at whatever price you signed up for. Nothing to worry about.

I pay for my membership but I got my key at the one on Veterans in Metairie but use the one near Tchoupitlous and Freret all the time now.

The Anytime Fitness in Towne Center has listed on its website that they accept health insurance rates. I emailed them last week to ask but haven't heard back so that might be something to check on if you're look in BR.

I'm looking at the same options and Towne Center isn't the closest branch to me but I may sign up there for the first month if that's how it works.

As I understand it, Healthways makes the deal with the gym. Here in Alexandria they had 2 gyms when I started, but both have dropped out, so now they have none. Healthways told me to give them the contact info and they would call the gyms to try to work something out.

Anyone know what a single membership is? I used to be a member at Townecenter but that was 4 years ago. I've looked up and gotten some weird answers.

Can be anywhere for $25-$50. They have programs with a bunch of different entities with reduced rates.

I work for the state, and I pay $55 for me and my wife. Some of the Anytimes in NOLA charge $50 for one person.

Spoke with the owner of my Anytime gym last week and she said that most insurance providers that do this pay them $3 per visit that the person makes each month for a maximum of 10 visits/month

She said it can be frustrating with these "members" because she may get paid anywhere from $0 to $30 per month. She said she gets paid "every day that they swipe their key"

Also, the insurance does not cover the cost of the key and most of these new members don't want to pay for the key. She tells them "then you better swipe that key at least 10 times every month"
