re: Anytime Fitness membership

I've been using Anytime since 2010 for $50/month for a single and loved it bc I could go to the Northshore, BR, Slidell, Picayune anytimes and it worked out perfectly for me. Recently I signed up for healthways which is $25/month and got to keep my anytime "membership", and also get to use Slidell Athletic Club, some of the snaps. I was using Crossgates but they cancelled the Healthways insurance program. If anytime does the same, I will just go back to using Anytime exclusively. It's saving me $25/month right now though.

You're right, and I tell people all the time about how convenient it is to be able to workout everywhere.
I've worked out at about 10-12 different gyms across South LA and in Houston.
I've been locked in at $32/month since my local gym opened 7 yrs ago

Anytime's membership is high as giraffe pussy. What location is only 25 a month?

If you lock in to a two year contract they will reduce it, but month to month is usually around $50/month, which isn't that unreasonable if you can go to many different gyms.

Not that I'm advocating it, but when I got my discount, they didn't verify a thing.

That's what I pay with my insurance. It's okay but I wouldn't pay 50 a month for it. My location is pretty small and always crowded.

Ok I wanted to post some more in this earlier today but had to work. Glad to see it had been bumped.
First for the OP. Like I said earlier, yes you can use your Blue365 membership at the clubs who accept it. After 30 days you can use the clubs that didn't accept it. Keep in mind though that you aren't as smart as you think you are. Many people try this and are shot down by the clubs they try and take advantage of. After using their club for 50% of the time or more over a 60 day period you will pop up on their transfer list. At that point they may contact you about switching to their club. If they do not accept blue365 they will ask you to start paying their monthly dues. If you refuse they will notify corporate that you are not in compliance with the reciprocity policy and your key will be blocked out of EVERY Anytime Fitness location except the one you signed up at. The ability to get in to every Anytime Fitness is a privilege, not a right, and comes with guidelines you are expected to follow.
For the posters complaining about Anytime Fitness's monthly prices....why do you want to workout in the cheapest gym possible? Do you stay in the cheapest hotel when traveling? Do you pick the cheapest restaurants whenever you go out to eat? Do you buy all your clothes from goodwill?
My point is you get what you pay for. Planet Fitness has put this idea out there that if it isn't a big box gym it should be 10 bucks a month. I'm not saying that Anytime Fitness should be as high as those big box clubs, but I certainly hope they never go as low as 10.00 a month. For me the sweet spot for an Anytime Fitness should be in the 30's per month. Of course expect to pay more if you aren't willing to commit for a year or more. I enjoy knowing that I'm not working out around a bunch of ghetto trash that couldn't afford more than 10 a month.

Does anyone with Blue Cross Blue Shield participate in the Blue365 deal? You pay $25 a month and they pay the gym.
Anyway, the Anytime closest to me isn't listed in the program, others are.
my question is- If I have a membership at one anytime shouldn't I be able to use them all?
yes I do.
BC/BS will give you the number to call to set it up.
when you call the middleman, they will give you club names in addition to Anytime fitness where you can also go at no additional charge.
its not just Anytime Fitness.
You can quit any time too, even though Anytime fitness's usual contract requires you to make a long commitment. You are not bound by it.
