Why wasn't bowman's play ruled an interception? It sure looked like an interception to me

it was a pick but it wasn't reviewable for some reason. That and the no call roughing on Andy Lee were backbreakers. But then again don't turn it over 3 times in the 4th quarter and we probably win. Kaep tried to be the hero and it cost us.

How was that a back breaker when Seattle fumbled on the next play?

The refs ruled it as a fumble, and that seattle retained possession. Not sure how they thought that, but its what was called.

And seeing who recovered the fumble in the field of play isnt reviewable...

Crazy
It did not look like the Seahawks WR ever had control and bowman took it from him

What a bunch of BS

Two things need to change for next season

Get rid of the bullshite pick plays. It's pretty much offensive PI

Change what cannot be reviewed. That Bowman play was laughable at how bad it was. Clearly laying on the ground with possession before the ball was taken away.

oh that's right. I was plastered by this point in the game so parts are hazy.

Luckily the Seahawks fumbled on the next play and SF got much better field position out of it.

That doesn't change the fact it was a horrific call.

It does take some heat off the officials since it's kind of a forgotten play now. Which sucks.

It sure as shiite shouldn't. The official was horrific for a game of that magnitude, and SF clearly got bent over repeatedly. And I didn't have a horse in he race-I detest both teams. Those officials should be publicly reprimanded.

Terrible officiating enforcing a dumbarse rule. It was a lose lose, that was mitigated by a ridiculous fumble the next play. Derp at its finest.

If this was a catch I don't see how they ruled the pass to Vernon Davis an incomplete pass a few possessions earlier. Davis took two running strides after catch from inside numbers to outside of numbers (might have even had a foot on ground at catch before two strides) and in the process of the third stride (foot about to touch before hit) while slightly turning up field with ball tucked he gets hit and loses ball on way to ground.
I don't think the to the ground rule should be applied for tackles after two running steps.
