The wife might be in the market for a new car and Subaru seems to be a great buy and a highly rated.
We are looking at the XV Crosstrek btw.

Owned the Tribeca and loved it. All vehicles are four wheel drive so you do get relatively bad mileage. The only reason we got rid of ours was because of too many kids. Every time my wife sees one she gives the "awww" I miss my tribeca" line. Big plus is your insurance should also go down. At least, it did with USAA. We sold ours in 09 so some info could be dated.

Solid cars, and a very good value.

If you read about them they seem to be the new "it" car. They are highly rated by the IIHS in crash tests, ALG and Consumer reports cannot stop singing their praises and you can get a great car around $28,000.
I just dont know anyone who owns one.

Do they have them at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale?

I have 3 friends and a neighbor that own subarus. They all rave about how great they are.

I'd say the most owned brand of vehicle in this town is a Subaru, because of the AWD and reliability. If I'm downtown, I could throw a rock and probably hit 2-3 of them.

I own one and love it. From all of my research they are a great brand in all categories.
I'm not familiar with the model you are looking at so I can't help much more.
Subaru hasn't been increasing sales 25% year over year for no reason though.

Have an Outback. We use it as a second car to transport the labs around town, so it has very low miles. It has the smaller motor so it doesn't have a lot of get up and go. However, it is a great car and I would buy one again-just with the bigger motor option.

We are looking at this one. LINK
It fits everything we need for her. It could be a bit bigger in the backseat but it just seems like a great buy.

Is your wife a lesbian?
Only women I know with Subarus are lesbians

Wheels are different, but I like them. Motor seems a little low on power, so I'd drive it to see how it accelerates.

We have an outback and a forester, and my daughter has an impreza. We love them all.

The XV is great if you like slow, noisy cars with no personality.
