Grocery store express lane etiquette. What do you do?

If someone's in the express lane, and obviously has more than 12 or 15 or whatever number the sign above the lane says you're supposed to have in that lane, do you call them out?

If they are less than 5 items over I don't care but if they roll up with a full cart I make them move.

I do not ... in fact there have been times when I've had more than "the number allowed" and the checker had NO ONE in line and said "I'll get you" ... I'm like "no, I have more than XXX and I don't want to get bitched at by someone who comes behind me" (trying to be nice). One actually told me "I'll handle it if anyone says anything".

I always thought it was fun to count their items as they pulled them out or they were rung up by the cashier, makes them feel uncomfortable.

Crop dusting is always the route to go in situations like that. Bonus point if you ask the offender "do you smell popcorn?"
