I usually throw some Doritos on the bun.

Can't say I've tried it before, but I'd imagine it's pretty good. Now that I think about it, the other day I ate some leftover hot dogs and chili with some Fritos Scoops.

not a bad choice.

my wife ate hot dogs when she was pregnant, but no hot dog bc the processed food thing. instead ate bun, relish, mustard and hotter n hot zapps.

she still prefers it that way. in fact, almost every sandwich she makes she puts zapps on now.

You can ask. It is OK and I don't mind answering.

Yes, I like cabbage cut fine and made into a mustard slaw. I like the sweetness of the cabbage and the mustard with my canned chili dog. Also a little chopped onion would be nice.

I am not much of a fan of cheese on my hot dog, but that is just me.

No doubt I am the only person on FDB who ever consumed canned chili and smiled afterwards. Makes me a freak of nature I guess. Wonder if I could get a booth in the Carney.

"Come one and all - The Mississippi Canned Chili Guy. You will be amazed. You will be astounded. You will leave speechless. He walks. He talks. He eats canned chili right before your eyes!"

That chili looks gross.

Put some jalapeños and cheese on there

diced onion
dijon mustard (on the bun, before other things go on)
grated sharp cheddar
Put it under the broiler and it will toast the bun and melt the cheese into the chili.

Don't scoff at the Dijon on this, it works!
