Fog is bad down here since the cold front moved out. I don't think it will be bad in the morning as long as this wind keeps blowing like a bus load of figs.

Not like you are saying that the birds are there. But since you said that stay in sela.

I haven't heard much from it, so that generally means people aren't killing anything. Venice is just a much more consistent producer, but like someone said, it might be foggy as hell there right now

You can kill a limit one day out of a blind, and get skunked in that blind the next day. To kill ducks, you just have to go. Asking dudes on the internet that didn't hunt either field your considering, shouldn't tip you one way or the other.

i mean, that's a fair statement right there but i am pretty dead nuts on the fence right now.

CENLA is a little easier, and i have actually never hunted the spots i'm talking about. but i have scouted in the past with good results & i am excited to try it out. i am fairly certain that i'll kill a couple woodies if nothing else. i have no idea what else i'm going to see though. that could be it all day.

SELA marsh is a much longer drive & boat ride and i'm going alone, so it'll be a long day by myself. that being said, i have a lot of confidence that i'll see some ducks & have some opportunities. worst case scenario i see here is that i can't capitalize on the opportunities or that the ducks just don't want in on my dekes and i only come home with 2 or so.

seems like a crap shoot. i guess that's duck hunting.

Dude. Let's leave br at 7 and go kill a limit in the marsh (dulac). You have my email. You have a boat? Mine's in the shop.
