Yep. I've decided to get the Ink Plus first to get the 1.25 conversion from Freedom points when I use them for Ultimate Rewards plus the 0 foreign transaction fee and the 5% categories off work well for my business expenses. Solid travel perks on that card.

After that I'll get the Citi Executive with the 100k miles if the promotion is still going. If not, I'll just wait for the next promotion.

Looking at the American Milesaaver site I should be able to get two round trip tickets for my wife and I with that promotion and get 10000 miles back in rebates. We are lucky because our travel dates are very flexible so we'll always be able to get flights utilizing the lowest number of miles. Traveling mid week is no big deal for me.

That's awesome. I make my own schedule pretty much so I'm flexible, yet sadly my fiance isn't so much. Sucks for her

Chase card users, this could be our biggest benefit to date. Early access to Jay-Z and Beyonce tickets at the Dome this summer!

quote:

Exclusively, Chase credit and debit customers will receive advance access to purchase tickets from Tuesday, April 29 at 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. local time. A non-exclusive presale window will continue through Thursday, May 1 at 10 p.m. local time. Chase credit and debit customers will also have exclusive access to purchase a Chase Lounge VIP ticket package which includes a private pre-show lounge with food and drinks.

This

It really is...haha. I'm hoping it lasts a couple more months. My wife is getting one whether she likes it or not. It's essentially a biz class ticket anywhere in the world for $200 + fees.

I've used the Admirals club twice since opening the card, and I just don't spend enough time in airports to ever justify keeping the card for that benefit.

Probably a good idea.

I also found a nice little change (not my own discovery) on a certain OS store website in their GC section that you can use CIP or CIB on. I suggest you investigate and make that method easier on yourself.

Use a portal and visa savings edge and have a nice day potentially.

Nice find

I haven't been keeping up with much of the MS lately. Still on auto pilot for the time being, but that's a pretty easy way to load up some points with little effort.

Btw: I like to think it's related, but Chase has given me the best rates on car and house BY FAR since I started doing this. Maybe it's them being competitive, but the discrepancies are vast enough to make me think it's the business I give them.

I shopped Chase before I bought and they were the best I had before I went to dealer. Ended up with Neighbors FCU as they were running some special and beat Chase by .25%.

Ya, I booked a trip to Cedar Point for a friend and myself so I needed to get my points together for the honeymoon again (so far away)

I want to have one leg to be able to be business class for scheduling purposes/flexibility.

So hopefully, nothing changes before December when I need to have everything in place.

Have you purchased any of those GCs yet? Wondering if there's a limit. I really wish they sold larger denominations. I have some heavy regular spend and can pay online using multiple cards so I wouldn't even have to bother liquidating.

I did two as a test.

I have the card registered with Visa Savings Edge, but this is my first qualifying purchase with that, (the 1% discount is supposed to show up on your statement). I also went through Chase UR portal. GCs aren't supposed to work, but I've read they do, at least sometimes.

Which statement or when is what I'm testing. But either way, having these things come to your door is convenient enough.

So I'm hoping for 7X $413.90 - 1% VSE. 2800 points for $10 or so I think is how that math works out, roughly.

Is it $200 each?

Also, I couldn't take the drought anymore...I was just approved for the old Blue. Hopefully I can pace myself to avoid the fraud alert!

Ok - I'll test out 5 here in a bit. I think I registered it with VSE already too.

I've read about that one. Haven't gone to try it yet. No new cards until this loan process is over.

I got this one. They put a $3,000 CL on mine and I'm guessing it was because of all my CC pulls, but I just about maxed it out twice in the first month. I just about hit the $6,500 already, but I'm not really worried about financial review or fraud alert. I didn't lie and can justify spending.

I'm thinking this card will be easy cash I look at it as a vacation subsidy card so that I can actually vacation for free without paying out of pocket for anything and using rewards to pay for everything.

Absolutely. I will be doing most of my MS on this for the forseeable future and normal things with the Chase cards because I'm a chase customer.

Hoping it does. In for 5. I'll update with results as well.

I would utilize the hell out of that if I could find an online no/low cost liquidation method. Not AP.

I haven't tried it, but people are loading Evolve Money with GCs.
