by the News Networks than the Obama IRS scandal were covered in 6 mos.

I'm not debating whether the bridge scandal is legit or not (I could give two shits either way) but the MSM going out of their way to legitimize this 'scandal' is absolutely

And to those who question whether there is a media bias....

Is there a link or source to this?

ETA: And I would believe it, I just want to see a breakdown of it.

Never a doubt about the bias. As some have mentioned, this Bridge story left no doubt for any fool on the fence...

yeah I wish...I just heard it on one of the right wing radio shows...maybe the Urban Media Source or something like that.

Even if the number is stretched I do not doubt one second.

From Media Research Center.

In less than 48 hours, ABC, CBS and NBC deluged viewers with coverage of Chris Christie's traffic jam scandal, devoting a staggering 88 minutes to the story. In comparison, these same news outlets over the last six months have allowed a scant two minutes for the latest on Barack Obama's Internal Revenue Service scandal. The disparity in less than two days is 44-to-one. [

I'd be more interested to see how it compared during the height of the scandal or even the weeks after Benghazi....

Media Matters is almost as p/o as VB and company that Obama's scandals are dared to be brought up.

How dare anyone say this!

Their comparison with the IRS scandal is more apples to apples. IMO

Misuse of polital power as opposed to a military scandal.

Military scandal? Are you blaming Benghazi on the military?

The IRS scandal is misuse of political powers. Benghazi, F&F, APGate are all misuse of political powers.

Who was fired?

Who was given posh DC offices and promoted?

Why were whistleblowers fired?

Why was the AG held in contempt and very near impeachment?

Kellyanne Conway, a veteran GOP pollster, told me that Mr. Christie's response so far to the scandal further humanizes him and "may actually enhance" his stature for 2016. "The opening remarks used language rare for a pol—'I am embarrassed and humiliated,'" said Ms. Conway. "Christie went where many politicians fail to go: he apologized, assumed responsibility and took swift action against the perpetrators who betrayed him and the public trust. That is leadership. Hillary Clinton's never done that about Benghazi. Barack Obama's never done it about ObamaCare. Eliot Spitzer's never done it about prostitutes."

should be pointed out over and over.

They're comparing the first few days of coverage immediately after the Christie story broke against July to present day coverage of the IRS scandal.

The IRS scandal broke in May.

pretty sure he said nothing of the sort. looks to me like his simply contextualizing the two issues.

Why don't we wait and see what he or she meant by military scandal.

sure we can. I'm fairly confident he or she is going to say they simply meant to point out the difference between a domestic political scandal that resulted in some road closures, the targeting of political opponents via tax scrutiny, and a violent terrorist assault overseas where Americans were murdered.
