They are pretty clearly the second best conference behind the SEC, and they aren't as far behind the SEC as a lot of SEC guys would want to believe.

If they have already played most of their bowls, then the record doesn't matter.

Easy killer. They've played 1 ranked opponent so far.

They must have some weak tie ins. 8 games before NY. How many were matchups vs bcs schools out of curiosity?

They have very shitty tie ins. They always draw crap teams in the bowls.

Our conference bowl matchups are very weak. Nothing I would beat my chest about.

Beating mid majors like Fresno and Boise doesn't accomplish anything. The Big12 is a horrible conference and Oregon beat up on a poor Texas team, ASU got boat raced by TxTech who was horrible in November. I just can't get excited about the conference's bowl resume. It was realistic to only lose 1 game.

BC
VT
Colorado St.
Fresno St.
Boise St.
BYU
Texas
Texas Tech
#4 Mich St.

All around a pretty 'meh' lineup. It's not their fault, but the PAC12 was favored in every single bowl. The smallest favorite being WSU -4 over CSU.

Probably second best, but the gap seems wider than you are stating.

I would love to see a couple Pac 12/SEC bowl tie-ins, but it probably won't ever happen

Exactly. If they are keeping bowl games make then interesting. Have some East coast vs West coast games. SE vs NW etc. That's what makes bowls fun.

Pac-12 has played a lot of crappy teams.

Still should be 7-1 but for Wazzu's Cougin' it - and total meltdown.

I would like to see some Pac-12 ACC/SEC matchups. The ones right now are garbage and can only hurt the conference if they lose. The drop off from the Rose Bowl can ruin a team's "hunger" for a win too IMO.

Why are there no Pac12/SEC bowl tie ins?

Good question. Too many SEC-Big 10 ties. Need more Big 12 and Pac 10.
