So how did Armstead play in game 2 of his career?

I was at the game and didn't pay much attention to specific players…with the results seeming pretty obvious, I assume he did well?

Some posters yesterday were saying he played much better. Not hearing his name called is a good thing for an OT.

funny lester disappears on the subject at hand.

I noticed him washing out Adrian Clayborn on that drive capped off by Pierre Thomas's TD.
seemed like he was doing a solid job run blocking.
I wasn't really paying attention to the pass blocking to be honest.

He played much better, but Charles Brown looked good at home in previous games too.

Not to take anything away from the kid, but Tampa has a way of doing that.

He did really well. He had good blocking on the one sack. The pressure up the middle forced Brees into his man.

I thought he played better as well. On a few plays his run blocking was outstanding. I would like to see a larger sample size and several away games to get a good feel for how good or bad he is.

I'll update this thread with PFF info once it becomes available.

I think he'll do fine v Philly. The outside rush on the left side from them last night was their guy charging full speed right at the tackle. If they don't stunt too much I think he'll be fine.
Bottom line, if Sean can stick with some runs early we will be fine. Dallas had a nice running game going that allowed Orton to have some time.

gave up two sacks. if that's considered much better, than so be it.

Armstead gave up two sacks or the line did?

tampa as a team only had 1 sack.

Armstead must have turned and pushed Brees down during the commercial break.

He's put together 6 solid quarters in a row

We only gave up 1 sack. I'm not sure if Tampa even had another pressure all game

And IIRC, the sack came from McCoy beetween Grubbs and DLP.
